The WIne

Our 2016 Soirée Pinot noir is a study in heritage Oregon Pinots. Composed entirely of fruit from Meredith Mitchell Vineyard, we used select ferments of this own-rooted Pommard-clone fruit raised in French oak barrels made by Oregon's premiere cooper, De Ferrari. The barrels are 48-month air-dried "Toasted Blonde Heads" and bring both tension and balance to this cuvée. Enjoy!

The Winery

Raptor Ridge was founded 24 years ago to share the joy of winegrowing, bringing purpose though connection with land, community and industry. Named for a ridge in the Chehalem Mountains, Raptor Ridge is a haven for birds and winery guests alike. We offer revitalizing vineside tastings, chef-inspired pairings and yoga retreats in a tranquil setting with four Cascade mountaintops in view. Our hand-grown single-vineyard wines are sourced from a rich tapestry of select Willamette Valley sites, including our own estate vineyard.
