The Wine

Willamette: The Pinot Noir Auction for the trade is the only time that I bottle a wine from a single barrel. The Bergström Vineyard is our original family planting from the iron-rich basaltic soils of the Dundee Hills AVA. This vineyard has been farmed biodynamically for 18 years. This is a Pommard clone selection fermented with 100% whole clusters. Les Griottes shows the power and the grace that the Dundee Hills is known for, as well as the style that I have been pursuing for 21 years as an Oregonian winemaker.

The Winery

Bergström Wines is a family–owned and operated exploration of Pinot noir and Chardonnay in Oregon's Northern Willamette Valley, with 85 acres of biodynamically farmed vineyards spread across five distinct vineyard sites on four different AVAs. We grow, ferment, age, bottle and sell our own wines with a focus on showcasing a purity of place, an Oregonian style and a steadfast stewardship of our soils.
